Dental Hygienist (RDH) Schedule

Full-Time 4 days per week, with alternating weekly schedule rotating Friday and every other Saturday

A native of Richardson, TX, Dr. Rick Barfield attended J.J. Pearce High School and graduated from Southern Methodist University with a degree in Psychology. Since receiving his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the Texas A&M University College of Dentistry, he has been providing trusted dental care in the Plano, Texas area for more than 30 years. 1st in Smiles is an established practice with a loyal patient base and a long history of providing excellent dental care. Responsibilities:
Screening patients during check-ups
Reviewing patient's history
Administers prophylactic treatment by scaling and polishing
Documents area of existing restorations
Use of X-ray
Instructing patients in oral hygiene technique and working with patients and their oral hygiene
Conduct screenings
Assist patients with oral hygiene
Qualifications:
Active Texas Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license required to start
Current BLS/CPR certifications
Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA and Infection Control training
All experience levels welcome to apply
