In our 18-bed Medical and Surgical ICU, the Level 1 Trauma RN team delivers professional nursing care to all types of acutely ill patients including post arrests, targeted temperature management, non NSTEMI, unstable surgical patients. Also including CIWA, general critical care, respiratory, liver and renal failure.     • You will perform comprehensive nursing assessments regarding the health status of the patient, following standards of care and disease specific protocols.
    • You will plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans to optimize outcomes and maximize available resources.
    • You will provide direct nursing care and supervise non-licensed nursing staff within the RN's scope of practice and in accordance with established policies.
    • You will provide education and emotional support appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstance and incorporate patient / family teaching into all aspects of nursing practice.What Qualifications You Will Need:
      • Registered Nurse
      • Associate Degree, BSN preferred
      • Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor
      • Advanced Cardiac Life Support, or ACLS Instructor
      • Minimum of 1 year RN experience in an acute care ICU setting Medical City Plano opened in 1975 and provides Plano and Collin County with advanced health care.
