Cardiology Physician Assistant - Plano, TX - Plano, TXBE A PART OF A TEAM YOU'LL LOVE Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant PLANO, TEXAS Texas Health Physicians Group is pleased to announce a full time opening for a Cardiothoracic Surgical Physician Assistant.-- --Here is your chance to work with highly skilled/trained physicians who use state-of-the-art technology and innovative procedures for patients who are diagnosed with a disease of the chest, heart, lungs, esophagus or the major blood vessels and veins of the body.---- Position Details:

• Full Time, 40 hours per week
• Surgical Assist in cases, Outpatient Ambulatory Visits & Hospital Rounding
• Electronic Medical Records
• Assess new consults in the clinic and hospital admissions
• Use evidence-based medicine to ensure the best outcomes to provide a comprehensive surgical experience and exceptional care

  • Active Texas license
  • Physician Assistant Board Certification and Experience
  • Master's Degree in Physician Assistant studies from an approved PA program
  • Surgical Experience plus 1 - 2 years Hospital & Ambulatory experience preferred The Physician Assistant ("PA") will be licensed as a physician assistant in the State of Texas and maintain such license in good standing at all times. Master's degree Physician Assistant required. -- The PA will report to the supervising physician and/or the Medical Director and will be responsible for meeting CME requirements to maintain certification and licensure. -- The PA's duties and responsibilities apply to the THPG patient population and assigned setting only.
