The Vascular Access Department is looking for top skilled nurses.

Work Location: Texas Health Plano, 6200 West Parker Rd, Plano, TX
75093
Work hours: Full Time; Days
Vascular Access Department Highlights:
* Collaborate and provide services for all inpatient and outpatient
units
* The professional nurse exhibits understanding of basic human
needs.
* The professional nurse demonstrates recognition and understanding
of patient's affiliations
Here's What You Need
* Nursing Diploma required or
* Associate degree in nursing from an accredited nursing program
required or
* BSN preferred
* One-year experience as a clinical nurse, or completion of an RN
residency program required
* Vascular Access experience strongly preferred
* Oncology, ICU or ED experience preferred
* Sono-guided PIV experience helpful
* Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas
Board of Nursing upon hire
* Current BLS required
What You Will Do
Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process
* Assesses the patient
* Plans the care of the patient
* Intervenes as appropriate
* Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions
* Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into
patient care
* Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need
for information
* Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital,
and while expediting out of hospital transfers
