Registered Nurse, Electrophysiology LabRegistered Nurse (RN) Electrophysiology Lab

Our Electrophysiology Lab is looking to add to their dynamic team!

Work location: Texas Health Plano, 6200 West Parker Road, Plano, Texas 75093

Work hours: PRN, 7:00am-5:30pm; 6 shifts per 6 week schedule required

Here's What You Need

* Diploma in Nursing or
* Associate degree from an accredited Nursing program required
* BSN preferred
* Other - CLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency required
* 1 year of clinical nursing experience required
* 1 year of EP or Cath Lab experience strongly preferred
* RN - Registered Nurse upon hire required
* BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly
* ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 90 days required

What You Will Do

* Assesses the patient
* Plans the care of the patient
* Intervenes as appropriate
* Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions
* Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.
* Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information
* Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers.
