Clinician/Registered Nurse to work Full- time supporting our Trauma
Administration Department.
The address is 6200 W Parker Rd, Plano, TX 75093
SCHEDULE: Full Time Rotating, Monday-Friday 0800-1700 one out of
every 6 weekends and occasional evenings based on the trauma
department's needs
TRAUMA DEPARTMENT HIGHLIGHTS:
* Level II Trauma Facility
* Over 2000 Trauma Patients annually
* Data Driven Trauma Team
* The Ideal candidate will love Process Improvement, Change
Management and Instituting Evidence based Practice to improve the
care of Trauma Patients
HERE's WHAT YOU NEED:
EDUCATION:
* Diploma Nurse Required
* Associate's Degree Nursing (ADN) Preferred.
* Bachelor's Degree Nursing (BSN) Preferred
* CLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign
education equivalency is required
EXPERIENCE:
* 3 years in Trauma/Surgical Intensive Care and/or Emergency
Department related experience Required
* Progressive leadership responsibility Preferred
* Charge Nurse & Preceptor experience Preferred
* TOPIC (Trauma Outcomes Performance Improvement Course)
preferred
* AAAIM AIS Injury Scoring Course (Preferred)
* Trauma Registry Data Management Course (Preferred)
* ACS TQIP data management experience (preferred)
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATIONS:
* RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire Required And
* BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support-Support prior to providing
independent patient care and maintained quarterly--Required
* ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support-Within 90 days-Required
* PALS (Pediatric Advance Life Support) or ENPC (Emergency Nursing
Pediatric Course)-Within 90 Days-Required
* TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) or ATCN (Advanced Trauma Care
Nurse)- Upon Hire Required
WHAT YOU WILL NEED DO:
* The professional nurse exhibits understanding of basic human

* The professional nurse demonstrates an appreciation of unique
meanings by: active listening and exemplifying a non-judgmental
attitude
* The professional nurse demonstrates recognition and understanding
of patient's affiliations.
