  • You will be responsible for facilitating patient transfer in accordance with policy and procedure.
  • You will ensure standards of performance are maintained as they relate to each individual department, with patient safety as the primary goal.
  • You will display an appropriate level of management acumen in effective conflict resolution involving staff, physicians or customers.
  • You will exercise independent judgment within the context of interdisciplinary patient care.
  • You will have the general clinical responsibility for patient care departments for a specific shift. What Qualifications You Will Need
    • Graduate of a School of Nursing, BSN required/MSN preferred
    • TX State RN license or compact license is accepted
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) for Healthcare Providers issued by either the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
    • 5 years progressive nursing experience-minimum of 2 years Supervisory capacity is required This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).Medical City Plano opened in 1975 and provides Plano and Collin County with advanced health care.
