Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse - Full-time
Night Shift 7P - 7A
--
Applying the standards set forth for nursing practice by the
American Nurses Association (ANA), the Neonatal ICU RN will
organize, modify, evaluate, document and maintain the plan of
care--for pre- and post-obstetrical patients.
----- Plan, implement, revise and delegate nursing care
----- Perform necessary technical skills as delineated through
education, expertise, and unit requirements
----- Incorporate teaching into all aspects of nursing practice

Our Level 3--NICU is a 40-bed open unit with 4 private rooms and is
equipped with state-of-the-art intensive care nursery technology.--
RNs care for neonates from 23 weeks gestation through full term
infants with complex congenital abnormalities or systemic
diseases.

Qualifications What you need to be successful:
----- BSN--required
----- Texas RN license or compact license is accepted
----- Current BLS issued by the American Heart Association or
American Red Cross required
----- Current NRP--and--S.T.A.B.L.E.
----- Must have at least one (1) year of Level 3 or 4 NICU RN
experience in an acute care hospital
