SCHEDULE: PRN/Per Diem Together, we're making a difference. \n\n At

Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse --- Seasonal PRN Status with a
Full-time Schedule Night Shift 7P --- 7A \n\n \n\n Applying the
standards set forth for nursing practice by the American Nurses
Association (ANA), the Med Surg Tele RN will organize, modify,
evaluate, document and maintain the plan of care for a unique
population of patients. \n\n --- Plan, implement, revise and
delegate nursing care \n\n --- Perform necessary technical skills
as delineated through education, expertise, and unit requirements
\n\n --- Incorporate teaching into all aspects of nursing practice
\n\n \n\n 7 South is a fast-paced 22-bed acute medical/surgical
telemetry unit. You will provide care to a diverse adult population
including COVID, ortho, bowel, NG tubes, wound and simple
surgeries. \n\n \n\n \n\n SEASONAL STAFF PROGRAM [Runs through
April 8, 2023] \n\n Must have one (1) year of current Med Surg RN
experience \n\n Pay Rate: $65/hour plus applicable differentials
\n\n A completion bonus of $3,000 to be paid after the successful
completion of 16 consecutive weeks of employment while meeting all
shift requirements during that time period. Only one completion
bonus will be paid per 36-week season. \n\n Program Requirements
\n\n --- All Seasonal RNs are required to work a minimum of 72
hours per pay period during the seasonal period. \n\n --- Within a
close geography, you may be asked to float to another facility that
has an emergent staffing need. \n\n --- Four (4) weekend shifts are
required each 4-week schedule period. \n\n --- During the course of
the 16-week period, the employee is required to work two (2)
holiday shifts (defined by Department Manager or designee). \n\n
--- Seasonal Staff are PRN status employees and are subject to
first call-off. There is no guarantee of hours by the hospital.
\n\n --- Seasonal Staff will not be eligible for benefits, except
401(k) and retirement contribution per the PRN policy. \n\n --- All
seasonal RNs will have one opportunity to pass the clinical
competency evaluation. \n\n --- Current FT, PT, and PRN Level 3
employees are not eligible to join the Seasonal program for 2022-23
with the exception of RNs that participated in the Seasonal program
in 2021-22. \n\n --- Shifts may vary based on the needs of the

need to be successful: \n\n \n --- ADN required / BSN preferred
\n\n --- Texas RN license or compact license is accepted \n\n ---
Current BLS and ACLS issued by the American Heart Association or
American Red Cross required \n\n --- Must have at least one (1)
year of Med Surg RN experience in an acute care hospital \n\n \n\n
