Description SHIFT: No WeekendsSCHEDULE: Full-time Quality Analyst RN - FPPE/OPPE and Peer Review Full-Time Days POSITION SUMMARY: Focused Professional Practice Evaluation (FPPE), Ongoing Professional Practice Evaluation (FPPE) and Peer Review. Collaborates with physician leaders and risk management to review cases and escalate as appropriate. Responsible for driving organizational change by developing, facilitating and executing organizational improvement projects and initiatives. Is accountable for ensuring that the projects meet the identified internal and external standards; and is instrumental in promoting culture change by sharing best practice and effectively teaching, mentoring, and coaching other team members in various improvement methodologies. Leads initiatives to support facility, division and corporate performance Indicators, and other facility-wide performance improvement activities (e.g., ongoing readiness, standardization of processes to reduce variation, etc.), through Performance Improvement Committees, Physician and Nursing-based committees, as well as numerous other multi-disciplinary project teams. Is a strategic thinker with strong analytical and business skills required to manage multiple projects/programs simultaneously. Medical City Plano is a full-service, 603-bed acute-care facility with more than 2,070 employees and over 1,466 physicians on staff, representing over 70 specialties and sub-specialties. Our main campus in the heart of Plano includes the main hospital and medical offices, an outpatient surgery center, a comprehensive cancer-treatment center, an emergency and Level 1 trauma center, a radiology/imaging center, a comprehensive cardiovascular program, the Center for Lifestyle Enhancement, The Bariatric Institute, Wound Care Center and complete women's and children's services including a high-risk antepartum unit and a Level 3 neonatal intensive-care unit. We will open a new 4-story tower in the fall of 2019, adding 90 patient beds including additional operating and recovery rooms and expanding our Medical Surgical, Oncology, Orthopedics and Critical Care Services. ntx--af Qualifications What you will need to be successful:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing; Master's degree preferred
  • License as a Registered Nurse in TX
  • CPHQ preferred
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers issued by either the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in healthcare
  • Ability to nagivate in OPPE software utilized to track priveledge use and trend quality indicators (CNS core measures, case reivew, etc.), match provider performance measures to organizational initiatives for improvement, and more
  • Docusign Software
  • Microsoft Office - Advanced Excel skills
