Job Description:
Designs, builds, and implements document management solutions,
using Java development tools. Builds applications and subsystems
for multiple platforms, using XML/XSLT, REST/Web Services, Java,
JDBC, and JQuery. Designs and constructs software solutions that
meet or exceed goals and commitments using Agile methodologies.
Provides business solutions by developing complex or multiple
software applications. Primary Responsibilities: Develops original and creative technical solutions to on-going
development efforts. Designs applications or subsystems on major projects and for/in
multiple platforms. Develops applications for multiple projects supporting several
divisional initiatives. Supports and performs all phases of testing leading to
implementation. Assists in the planning and conducting of user acceptance
testing. Develops comprehensive documentation for multiple applications
supporting several corporate initiatives. Responsible for post-installation testing of any problems. Establishes project plans for projects of moderate scope. Works on complex assignments and often multiple phases of a
project. Performs independent and complex technical and functional
analysis for multiple projects supporting several initiatives. Education and Experience: Bachelors degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer
Science, Applied Computer Science, Engineering, Information
Technology, Information Systems, Computer Information Systems,
Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and three (3)
years of experience in the job offered or three (3) years of
experience analyzing, developing, and designing Java enhancements
and integration for Documentum enterprise content management
platforms. Or, alternatively, Masters degree (or foreign education
equivalent) in Computer Science, Applied Computer Science,
Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer
Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related
field and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or one (1)
year of experience analyzing, developing, and designing Java
enhancements and integration for Documentum enterprise content
management platforms. Skills and Knowledge: Candidate must also possess: Demonstrated Expertise (DE) designing and implementing
enterprise document management solutions on large, multi-repository
and multi-instance platforms, using xcelerated composition platform
(xCP), Web Development Kit (WDK), Documentum Foundation Classes
(DFC), Documentum Foundation Services (DFS), Content Management
Interoperability Services (CMIS), and Java development tools
according to Business Process Management (BPM) optimization
methodologies. DE developing solutions for storing, locating, retrieving, and
documenting confidential employee documents, using Write Once Read
Many (WORM) compliant storage and content management methodologies
according to Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) rule 17a4
record keeping regulations; and building and deploying content
management applications to Cloud, using Continuous Integration (CI)
/ Continuous Deployment (CD) pipelines. DE integrating financial services and workflow applications into
a Documentum content management system, using Content Management
Interoperability Services (CMIS) and Documentum Foundation Services
(DFS) Web integration techniques, including Single-sign on (SSO)
integration. DE developing enterprise level applications within a Java
environment, using J2EE, Service Oriented Architecture, and SOAP
and Restful Web services; and developing Web-based applications
