job requisition id REQ-4178What You'll Do:Develop and implement the
Enterprise vision and strategy for software quality assurance, test
data, and test environment management. Lead a team responsible for
test method development, automation, verification, and validation
for a major financial utility. Define and drive the future of OCC's
software quality assurance by envisioning complex ecosystems and
inspiring teams to transform OCC's testing.Primary Duties and
Responsibilities:To perform this job successfully, an individual
must be able to perform each primary duty satisfactorily.
- Lead the overall quality of the programs/applications/solutions
by applying business and functional knowledge to develop end-to-end
testing strategies using quality processes and methodologies.
- Build, inspire, and guide a high-performance team to deliver
best in class QA services.
- Provide leadership and oversight to project delivery, setting
standards for quality and testing.
- Collaborate with architecture, development, and business teams
to provide cohesive testing services, plan, and execute large scale
projects.
- Drive consistency and standardization for process assurance
across the development lifecycle (requirements management,
development, functional and system test, release management
etc.).
- Drive execution through the establishment of organizational
structures, processes and incentive programs.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and
policies.
- Interact with key business partners to recommend solutions that
best meet the strategic needs of the business.
- Contribute to performance engineering practices by providing
inputs on capacity planning, performance tuning, diagnostics,
problem detection and resolution.
- Develop procedures and common metrics to ensure that
efficiency, collaboration, and quality standards are achieved.
- Manage project planning, including allocation of resources,
assignment, and coordination.
- Teach/enable team members to use new applications for testing
to deploy across OCC.
- Build a strong relationship with the Chief Information Officer,
IT Leadership Team and executive team of the OCC. Present change
objectives and deliveries to the board and at industry forums when
required.Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Manages a team of people managers, individual contributors, and
consultants/contractors.Qualifications:The requirements listed are

- Strong strategic thinking skills, with the ability to see the

- Knowledgeable about industry trends, best practices, and change
management.
- Strong understanding of how to validate fault tolerant, high

- Experienced operating in a highly regulated organization
responsible for systems with the highest levels of resiliency.
- Experience with systems supporting a real-time messaging
environment that is integrated with numerous industry
participants.
- Minimum ten (10) years' experience with leading the design and
set-up of test automation frameworks, processes, and tools.
- Experience with BDD methodologies & automated acceptance
testing.
- Ability to manage multiple, competing priorities and make
decisions quickly.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate and
interact with a variety of internal/external customers, co-workers,
and Executive Management.
- Strong work ethic, hands-on, detail oriented with a customer
service mentality.
- Team player, self-driven, motivated, and able to work under
pressure.
- Results-oriented and demonstrated record of developing
initiatives that impact productivity.
- Proactive and solutions-oriented with experience working in
ambiguity.Technical Skills:
- Software QA methodologies (requirements analysis, test
planning, functional testing, usability testing, performance
testing, etc.).
- Utilizing best practices in software engineering, software test
automation, test management tools, and defect tracking
software.
- Define test strategies, organizational structures, and best
practices to successfully implement large-scale custom solutions
running on public cloud infrastructure that are replacing legacy
solutions (big-bang go-live software implementations).Education
and/or Experience:
- BS degree in Computer Science, similar technical

- The salary range listed for any given position is exclusive of
fringe benefits and potential bonuses. If hired at OCC, your final
base salary compensation will be determined by factors such as
skills, experience and/or education.

final offer.
- We typically do not hire at the maximum of the range in order
to allow for future and continued salary growth. We also offer a

- All employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus.
Discretionary bonuses are based on various factors, including, but
not limited to, company and individual performance and are not
guaranteed.Salary Range$267,700.00 - $457,400.00Incentive Range63%
to 70%. This position is eligible for an annual discretionary
incentive compensation award, for which the target range is listed
above (see Incentive Range). The amount of such award, if any, will
