Production Manager - Plano, Texas Company Overview: We are a small Surface Mount Technology (SMT) company based in Plano, Texas that specializes in electronic manufacturing services. Our company has been in operation for over two decades and we are committed to providing high-quality products to our clients. Job Overview: We are looking for an experienced Production Manager to oversee our manufacturing operations. The Production Manager will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our production processes, managing the production team, and meeting production targets. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement production plans and schedules to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality products
  
• Monitor production processes and identify areas for improvement
  
• Manage and motivate the production team to ensure they meet production targets and quality standards
  
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations in the production area
  
• Manage inventory levels and ensure that materials are available for production
  
• Liaise with other departments such as sales and engineering to ensure that production processes meet customer requirements
  
• Manage equipment maintenance and repair schedules to minimize downtime
  Requirements:
  
  • 5+ years of experience in a production management role, preferably in an SMT company
    
  • Familiarity with ISO-9001, IPC 610, 5-S, and lean manufacturing
    
  • Knowledge of production processes and procedures
    
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
    
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
    
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles is an advantage
