Job Description:
Responsibilities:
Help define and implement our strategy for Observability. This
includes the collection, delivery, analysis, and visualization of
metrics, logs, and traces.
Build and integrate best-of-breed observability platforms in
support of that strategy. Building orchestration and automation
tooling around off the shelf solutions, as well as building
solutions that meet the unique needs of cxLoyalty
Manage the monitoring and automation tool roadmap, and propose and
develop new solutions based on technology strategy.
Directly collaborate with senior management and all product
stakeholders to understand business requirements, help drive
alignment, and build thoughtful solutions throughout your team.
A deep understanding of ITIL, with an emphasis on event management
and incident management
Requirements:
Strong verbal and written communications skills at all levels of
the organization
Ability to work effectively in a matrix global organization,
aligning local IT leadership with the global IT functions
A strong focus on delivering business value, and translating
potential technical solutions into realistic business cases and
successful projects
Ability to effectively manage changes both within IT and across the
organization
Consistent demonstration of ownership & accountability in
fulfilling commitments
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and
multi-task activities within a fast-paced environment
A curiosity for understanding new technologies or services and
determining how they may influence our strategy
Ability to assess complex systems, business processes and define
requirements for solutions
Regulatory compliance experience preferred (PCI DSS\\SOX\\ISO)
Bachelor degree in an IT related field or equivalent experience
Minimum of 5 years' experience leading monitoring and automation
teams
Minimum of 5 years' Hands on experience with monitoring tools such
as zabbix, Dynatrace, Moogsoft, exabeam, ServiceNow, Robotic
Process automation tools, etc.
More than 5 years' experience with infrastructure leadership across
a broad range of technologies
Experience of working in a global organization and coordinating
with remote resources
Exceptional upbeat and optimistic attitude
Quick learner with the ability to understand and adapt to new
requirements
Travel as Required
