looking forThe Toyota Financial Savings Bank (TFSB) is looking for
a highly motivated and qualified -Chief Information Officer (CIO)
for Banking and Commercial Lending. Toyota Financial Savings Bank
was chartered in 2004 and recently surpassed $5 billion in assets,
offering a portfolio of lending services and FDIC-insured deposit
products for eligible Toyota, Lexus and private label dealers and
team members. TFSB is forecasted to grow its consumer and
commercial lending business with existing and new business
opportunities four-fold in the its mid-term business plan.Toyota
Financial Services is the affiliate of TFSB responsible for
delivery of information technology and data services for Toyota
financial North American entities. -The Chief Information Officer's
role is to provide strategy and leadership for developing and
implementing information technology initiatives. The Chief
Information Officer directs the planning and implementation of
enterprise IT systems in support of business operations to improve
cost effectiveness, service quality, risk management, compliance,
business resilience and business development while maturing the
overall data protection landscape in today's highly regulated
banking environment. This individual is responsible for all aspects
of the organization's information technology management.The CIO
will be a key member of the bank's various management committees
responsible for the Bank's IT Strategy and lead the TFSB board and
regulator discussions around the related strategic and operational
plans.With a Dual Hat reporting structure to the TFSB CEO and
direct reporting to the Toyota Financial Services CIO, the person
will:
- Lead IT strategy, operational planning and delivery to achieve
TFSB business goals by fostering innovation, prioritizing IT
initiatives, and coordinating the evaluation, deployment, and
management of current and future IT systems across the
organization.
- Develop the IT Strategic Plan by collaborating with TFSB
leadership and aligning business goals, risk appetite and
technology goals. -
- Design, implement and manage IT architecture, infrastructure,
platforms/systems and data.
- Develop and maintain an appropriate IT organizational structure
that supports the needs of the business and budget. At current TFSB
size, expected direct staffing 20+ FTE with team members and
suppliers.
- Oversees the budget and administration of various Bank hardware
and software technology systems.
- Ongoing evaluation of staff, technical expertise and future
needs of the department while determining the correct balance of
utilizing internal staff and third-party partners.
- Assess the institutions inherent IT risks and provide reports
to the board on IT risks, strategy and changes.
- Ensures all industry and governance controls meet and/or exceed
industry regulations through a comprehensive IT Risk Management
program, including cyber security
- Accountable for IT governance and compliance which will be
measured by exams, audits and metrics set by the IT Steering
Committee.
- Develop the IT strategy and operational program for FFIEC and
FDIC compliance readiness based on the bank's business growth by
working with TFSB leadership across all functions.
- Oversees and matures cybersecurity systems and controls to
enhance data protection within the bank's footprint that includes
all bank owned hardware and software, cloud systems, software as a
service providers, third-party vendors and work from anywhere
personnel.
- Partner closely with Chief Information Security Officer on
internal and external information security assessments as
necessary. -
- Design and implement necessary remediation plans to address
information security gaps and findings.
- Coordinate and facilitate consultation with stakeholders to
define business and systems requirements for new technology
