you! Position Overview & Responsibilities As a VP - HR Insights
Analyst, you are not only strong in both quantitative skills and
business acumen, but also a great collaborator with your team
members and internal clients. You translate abstract business asks
to analysis tasks or agenda, conduct analysis, and communicate
results with relevant parties. You are a valuable contributor to
our intellectual capital - Accumulate institutional knowledge about
our workforce, explore and develop different tools and analysis
methods in the context of HR, and create relevant templates or
automation process to drive synergy across HR analytics work. Last
but not least, you em brace a mentoring mentality in developing
junior team members through collaboration in project/product work.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Conduct analysis based on past and current HR or business data,
with the primary goal of answering business questions and
supporting HR in making evidence-based decisions
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team to deliver analysis
results
- Communicate analysis results with relevant team members and
internal clients
- Create and document institutional knowledge about our
workforce, and share such knowledge with relevant team members and
stakeholders
- Explore new tools, technology, and analysis methods for
projects, analysis, or products
- Develop new ideas for projects based on observations in
existing book of work and data asset
- Identify data automation capabilities and apply them to
appropriate use cases to create capacity for businesses
Qualifications Regarding Minimum requirements, you should have at
least the following experience:
- Bachelors with 7+ years' experience in a related data
discipline (e.g., Economics, Business, IO Psychology, Statistics,
Business Analytics, Computer Science, or relevant fields), and/or
3+ years at a top management consulting firm with a Master's degree
(or equivalent in industry)
- Hands-on experience in at least two of the following:
- Advanced excel skills (e.g., VLOOKUP, INDEX MATCH, advanced
conditional formatting, Analysis ToolPak, macros/VBA)
- Data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI, Qlik)
- Statistical software or coding languages (e.g., R, SAS, SPSS,
Python)
- Statistical or quantitative analysis (e.g., multiple
regression, multivariate analysis, network analysis, AL/ML concepts
and techniques)
- Data wrangling (e.g., SQL, Alteryx).
- Versatile in learning and picking up different software, tools,
methodology, or coding languages
- Relevant experience in consulting, client engagement, or
project execution with demonstrated experience in data & analytics
topics Also, a big plus if you possess any of the following
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in strategy consulting, specifically in data- and
analytics-related fields
- Domain knowledge in Human Resources analytics or in the
financial services
- Ability to articulate complex issues in easy to understand
ways
- Pragmatic problem solving across multiple types of issues in
project work
- Willingness to learn new areas of focus - especially support
functions
