communities.Position OverviewThe position will be responsible for
supporting the T-Mobile account digital channel sales including
working closely with marketing, operations, category sales, and
supply chain functions on the digital business. This position will
help plan and coordinate all sales, merchandising, and operational
aspects and act as a point of contact between Samsung functional
leaders and T-Mobile.Primary duties and responsibilities include
but are not limited to creating and executing digital sales
initiatives, building and maintaining customer relationships,
supporting digital merchandising and CRM, cross-functional
collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, supporting
sales operations, and management of financial and operational data
as it relates to the digital channels.Role and
ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities and Duties:
- Manage: Make customer sales calls to identify incremental
promotional opportunities within carrier and retailer .com
channels, maximize placements, support new product launch, identify
sell-out opportunities, and other key metrics, etc.
- Build: Build and maintain relationships with key customer
leaders and partners
- Optimize: Monitor sales trends and assist in creating and
executing sales plans, assist with quarterly and annual
channel-specific business planning
- Innovate: Think outside-the-box and collaborate with various
functional areas on execution of Go To Market tactics for product
launches across categories, leverage data to build insights and
create best in class web presenceBackground/Experience Required:
- Bachelors degree in business administration, marketing,
economics, finance, logistics, engineering or related field
- 6+ years of industry experience, and experience in mobile
categories with similar go-to-market strategies desired
- Exceptional strategic planning and analytical skills, financial
acumen, organizational planning required
- Exceptional and proven written and verbal skills are absolutely
critical to the role
- Ability to gather all forms of data, use various tools of
evaluation and prepare analysis and recommendations for Senior
leadership within Samsung and the customer
- Ability to take business objectives and strategies and develop
aligned sales/product/channel tactic/programs
- Work independently and in a team environment, in order to
achieve personal and team goals and complete assignments within
established time frames.
- Demonstrated ability to interact at all levels within customers
organizations and within the SEA organization. The ability to
negotiate with and convince others, in a potentially adversarial
environment, including customer leadership, VPs, directors &
managers, staff, and vendors with opposing views to accept/approve
plans, technical, and project recommendations.
- The ability to plan, organize, and prioritize multiple projects
as well as sales and promotional programs to various performance
objectives. Post-program analysis and review is also critical.
- The ability to make professional sales and business
presentations in writing, through emails and reports, or orally,
including complex business and technical matters to an audience of
high technical skills, management, and operational
experience.Skills and QualificationsPhysical/Mental Demands:Work is
generally performed in an office environment. Operate a computer
keyboard and view a video display terminal between more than 50% of
work time, including prolonged periods of time. Requires
considerable work utilizing high visual acuity / detail, numeric /
character distinction and moderate hand / finger dexterity. The
movement and transportation of equipment, most of the time is under
25 pounds. Performs work under time schedules and stress which are
normally periodic or cyclical, including time sensitive deadlines,
intellectual challenges and project management deadlines. Machines,
tools, equipment, and work aids include PCs, printers, copiers,
faxes and other equipment commonly associated with an office work
area. May require working additional hours beyond normal schedule.
