This position will be involved in direct customer service to clients. Duties include working with the Account Executive to design proper insurance/risk management services for clients along with customer service in coordination with other agency personnel. The Account Manager has product knowledge and is familiar with products offered by carriers. The Account Manager assists in production and renewal of accounts and can assist clients with service needs and making changes to existing accounts.The Ideal Candidate:You enjoy problem-solving with great, customer service-minded solutionsTeamwork is part of your DNA and you are looking for a great opportunity to be a part of a team, learn from senior team members, and have a great career pathYou have great communication skills and are analytical in your workAccount Manager - Commercial Lines Insurance Responsibilities:Maintains effective and productive relationships with clients and serves in a client-facing capacity on matters of moderate importance and complexityFinalizes new and renewal proposals at the direction of the Account ExecutiveDesigns insurance and risk management plans as assigned/directed by Producer or Account ExecutiveGuides clients through the renewal process, which may include requesting renewal exposures, submitting requests to carriers based on renewal timetableProcesses change requests and other items that may be requiredMeets directly with clients in conjunction with other team members. Has the ability to negotiate lines of insurance with carriers and sales to clients.Works with Producer and Account Executive to write new business accountsCapability to market accounts to insurance carriers and wholesalers as neededAssists in the development of strong personal relationships with appropriate insurance carrier personnel and assists the agency in developing carrier relationshipsReviews insurance and indemnification parts of contractsMaintains follow-up and suspense on outstanding correspondence, reports, renewal expirations and follows up promptlyAccount Manager - Commercial Lines Insurance Requirements:3+ years of commercial lines account management/client servicing experience managing a high volume workload in a midsize brokerage houseState Property and Casualty Insurance license (active)Experience with Insurance Agency Software (Applied Epic or Sagitta preferred)Bachelor's degree (or equivalent in education and experience)CIC, CRM, CPCU, or other advanced commercial insurance designation(s) strongly preferredModerate level of technical-commercial insurance coverage knowledgeHigh level of proficiency quoting through carriersIntermediate skill level in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint) and strong keyboarding skillsAbout AssuredPartners:Joining AssuredPartners offers you the opportunity to excel at one of the fastest-growing independent companies in the industry.
