Program Manager, Technology - Data

We are looking for a Program Manager, Technology - Data to drive and deliver large, cross-functional programs.

Based in our Technology organization, this role involves working directly with the Technology Team, Technical Architects, Business Stakeholders, Executive Leadership, and Vendors to coordinate and execute large scale programs critical in supporting our corporate strategies.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead large, complex programs from concept to implementation ensuring on time and on budget delivery
  • Managing agile teams to deliver Big Data platform and Analytics products
  • Design, develop, and manage project plans, revising as needed to meet changing priorities
  • Drive out-of-scope dependencies and timeline
  • Manage program-level planning to track milestones and deliverables impacting multiple projects, releases, tracks, and dependencies (e.g., test planning, business training and change management)
  • Work closely with 20+ Scrum Teams, Product and Delivery Leadership to ensure timely and accurate deliverables while facilitating collaboration to meet program goals
  • Own and communicate program status reporting
  • Lead the project/program level cross-functional stakeholder teams to drive the risk/issue mitigation and effective decision making via collaboration, proactive planning, conflict resolution and dependency management (actively engage to address issues utilizing standard program management processes and tools
  • Have excellent communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills that are essential for interacting with key stakeholders at all levels, across the organization that will lead to managing expectations, keeping everyone informed and influencing outcomes
    Core Competencies & Accomplishments:
  • Ability to lead large programs/portfolios with high impact and cross-portfolio scope, complexity and collaboration with cross-functional teams, both business and IT
  • Works independently and develops a wide sphere of influence
  • Experience working with global teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Detail oriented, able to multi-task, adapt to change and effectively prioritize work
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Coaches, mentors, and develops junior members in the job family
  • Maintains budgets, forecasts, and project timelines
  • Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Teams
  • Experience implementing COTS software is a must
    Basic Qualifications
  • 7+ years' experience
  • Bachelor's degree in technology or related field
  • Retail experience is a plus
  • Certification in the Project Management and Agile methodology is preferred
