It all begins with you.Technology sets IT strategy; enhances the design, development, and operations of our systems; optimizes the Wells Fargo infrastructure; provides information security; and enables Wells Fargo global customers to have 24 hours a day, 7 days a week banking access through in-branch, online, ATMs, and other channels.Cyber Security Innovation Analytics LeaderThis position reports directly to the Cyber Security Innovation Manager. This manager will lead a team of data scientist with a mission to drive enterprise-wide efforts to proactively prevent cyber attacks by leveraging big data tools, AI/ML technologies, and custom developed analytics. Results from this team are expected to produce tangible risk findings that can be used to drive refinement and remediation in the overall security posture of the Wells Fargo attack surface.-- This leader will take a proactive approach to risk detection and mitigation and be focused on anomaly detection.Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead and develop the Cyber Security Innovation (CSI) Analytics team which will involve workflow process creation, data onboarding, communications strategies, alerting and visualization of discovered risk. The team will center most of their efforts on leveraging a data streaming analytics platform to which the leader will need to fully understand from a technical and business capability standpoint and lead efforts to uncover risk in an almost real time fashion.
  • Lead the strategy, development, implementation, of machine learning and artificial intelligence capabilities that exists in the analytics platform to accelerate and scale the monitoring and risk detection of the Well Fargo cyber security landscape
  • Partner with Threat Intel and Red teams to gain insight into high priority risk findings and drive analytic detection mechanism based on those findings.
  • Maintain an Agile workflow process for the team and ensure all findings from the team are actionable can be used to drive meaningful cyber security risk mitigation across the enterprise.
  • Lead and evolve the function as the threat landscape evolves. This leader will build and maintain
  • relationships with peers and senior leaders across Cyber Security Defense & Monitoring, Information and Cyber Security, Wells Fargo Technology, Corporate Risk, and the various Lines of Business, and will effectively leverage these relationships in empowering the CSI analytics team in driving meaningful risk mitigation at scale.
  • Establish priorities for CSI Analytics team as well as managing the allocation of people, technology
  • and financial resources to ensure that projects are completed within committed time and budget and align to strategic objectives.
  • Attract and retain key cyber talent and leverage that talent to identify and drive remediation of security gaps.Driving Results

            • 5+ years of technology experience
            • 3+ years of experience with strategic planning in a technology environment
            • 2+ years of experience with leadership in an enterprise technology environment
            • 5+ years of information security experienceDesired Qualifications
              • Experience managing large technology development efforts within a major line of business
              • Ability to influence across all organizational levels, particularly senior management
              • 2+ years of Hadoop experience
              • 2+ years of Splunk experience
              • 2 + years of experience with Elasticsearch development, integration or supportOther Desired Qualifications
                • --2+ years of Cloudera Experience
                • --1+ year of implementing machine learning to solve cyber security use cases
