Working as the HPE Travel & Corporate Card Director you will l ead
the planning, design, implementation, communication and delivery of
the company's travel strategies and corporate card governance
across all business groups and regions around the world.
How you'll make your mark:
- Actively partner with and influence stakeholders and suppliers
at the VP and SVP level on a regular basis.
- Leads supplier management, sourcing, and negotiations for all
Travel (airlines, hotels, ground transportation) suppliers.
- Manages HPE's outsourced Travel Agency to ensure they deliver
- Drives innovation that will deliver incremental value for HPE
(e.g. technology/tools, processes).
- Leads a global team located in the Americas, Europe, and Asia,
and is responsible for performance management, talent management
and succession planning, ensuring that the appropriate tools and
processes are in place to support the team.
- Partners with various internal organizations (Security, HR,
etc.) to ensure the safety of HPE travellers.
- Advanced business and financial acumen and the ability to
leverage data to deliver actionable insights.
- Strong leadership skills, particularly in complex,
international and cross functional teams.
- Highly credible in consulting, influencing and negotiating with
the ability to ensure strategic alignment with multiple
- Advanced program management and prioritization skills.
- Skills and demonstrable experience in building forward-thinking
partnerships with suppliers.
Education and Experience Required:
- First level university degree or equivalent experience;
advanced university degree preferred
- Typically 12+ years of experience in a relevant field
(Operations, Finance, Procurement/Supply Chain, Travel, etc.)
- Ability to build partnerships across various functions
- Strong communication skills - written, oral and presentation
