Job Description:

Summary: As a Technical Program Manager you are responsible for driving the various teams - both internal and external - to deliver SaaS-based products and services to the market. This position is responsible for writing product specifications, creating and executing against the project plan, proactively mitigating risks, and managing the software development life cycle from inception to production deployment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Work with business and customer stakeholders to define product objectives and requirements. Act as a technical liaison between the technology team and customer stakeholders. Prioritize requirements and define scope to meet market needs in a timely manner given available resources. Develop, maintain, and distribute (as appropriate) standard project management deliverables for the successful launch of new products and other technology initiatives, including implementation plan, project schedule, project budget and variances, issues & action items log. Conduct sprint planning for multiple concurrent projects. Lead technology team resource planning across all projects. Anticipate problems and formulate solutions so as not to impede the progress of technical projects. Conduct technology risks assessment and contingency planning. Accountable for on-time product delivery, product quality, cost, and operations for internal and external development teams. Help establish the technologies, tools, and processes to drive the organization towards Continuous Integration and Deployment and potentially a DevOps operating model. Lead efforts to improve IT processes, policies, and procedures. Develop, maintain, and execute against technology program roadmap.

A.) in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent; or four+ years' experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 5+ years of Program Management or Technical Program Management experience in a technology-oriented organization. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred. Strong project management skills with the ability to work on and track multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical individuals. Experience managing large scale system integration projects. In-depth technical understanding of data interfacing/APIs. Experience with Agile methodologies. Extensive experience in software product engineering, deployment, and integration. Ability to evaluate product performance metrics, as well as diagnose and resolve issues. Ability to keep up with advancements in the field of technical product development.

Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Word Processing software; Development software; Design software; e-mail; and common Internet software. Further, an individual should demonstrate proficiency in leveraging computer tools to aid and assist with other job functions as appropriate. Language Ability: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to meet specific computer development language requirements as stated above.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Math Ability: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
