Job Description:
SNC's Military Fellowship Program partners with programs such as
SkillBridge and Hiring Our Heroes to provide fellowship
opportunities to service members transitioning to the civilian
workforce. These fellowships include up to six months of on-the-job
industry training for eligible service members. During this time,
participants gain valuable work experience in the civilian sector
and build professional networks as they prepare for their
transition to full-time civilian work. NOTE: You must be currently
serving on active duty to be eligible for this fellowship program.
This program is not for veterans who have already separated from
the military. The ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance &
Reconnaissance), Aviation, and Security (IAS) business area is a
leader in ISR and aviation, it is a leading prime manned and
unmanned aircraft systems integrator for innovative,
high-performance ISR and aviation systems. Its end-to-end Command,
Control, Computers, Communications and Intelligence, Surveillance &
Reconnaissance (C4ISR) capabilities encompass design, integration,
test, certification, ground/flight training and complete logistics

schedule requirements and designs to consistently exceed

under) budget deliveries. Responsibilities You will be responsible
for all aspects of aircraft Electrical Wiring and Interconnection
Systems (EWIS) design and development in SNC Integrated Digital
Environment: Creation harness assembly routing and installations
Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to resolve system
interferences Provide guidance on design tool development and
enhancements EWIS component selection Liaison support for Flight
Test, manufacturing, and operations (trouble shooting and
non-conformity dispositions) Assist in the development new
processes and process improvement initiatives Provide guidance and
mentor to more junior engineers on the team Qualifications You Must
Have: Currently serving as active duty military and be eligible to
participate in the DoD SkillBridge program Bachelor's Degree in a
related field, and typically 10 or more years of relevant
experience •Higher education may substitute for relevant experience
•Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required
education Able to effectively and clearly communicate complex
regulatory requirements and solutions ITAR, EAR, FTR Experience
analyzing and interpreting federal rules and regulations
Significant experience with EWIS design for large transport
category aircraft (14 CFR, Part 25, Subpart H) Familiar with use of
Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools (e.g. 3DExperience, Enovia
SmarTeam, Teamcenter) Experience with 3D harness routing and
installation design CAD tools (e.g. CATIA, SolidWorks, NX) Familiar
with Model Based Design (MBD) principals Ability to effectively
communicate EWIS system requirements to other engineering
disciplines Working knowledge of environmental electromagnetic
effects and electromagnetic compatibility principles, as well as
methods of protection and mitigation of those effects on EWIS.
Familiar with system safety principles and hazard mitigation
methods Qualifications We Prefer: Proficient knowledge of ITAR &
EAR concepts Experience conducting export control classifications
and jurisdiction reviews Prior technical leadership experience
Prior subcontractor management experience Project Management
