Our Client is pioneering several different development efforts to increase security within Our Clients vehicle ecosystem. Several of these efforts require hands-on development skills with embedded systems with a working knowledge of security. Additionally, these efforts require members to clearly articulate technical material both verbally and written.
Activities:
Perform hands-on embedded system development of security libraries.
Create proof-of-concept implementations of cybersecurity features and tools.
Work independently with developers, system/network administrators, product owners, and other colleagues to ensure secure design, development, and implementation of applications and networks.
Perform security design reviews of applications, systems, and networks.
Provide remediation guidance and recommendations to developers and administrators.

Requirements:
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of embedded systems development and deployment experience.
Experience programming in C/C++. Rust experience would be great to have, Python is preferred
Experience with embedded Linux systems.
Demonstrate a good working knowledge of embedded security best practices and the secure development lifecycle.
Ability to learn new technology quickly and adapt to changes.
Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong oral and written skills.
Experience implementing security mechanisms is a plus, such as:
Secure boot
Secure updates
Secure communication features
Trusted Applications for TrustZone
Sandboxing
RM Notes:
Primary Development on embedded systems Must have
Primary language C/C++
Docker/Jenkins preferred with some testing servers/infrastructure would be good to have
This role is mostly remote Quarterly travel to Plano,TX (expenses will be reimbursed)
Interview process 2 rounds initial with the team members 60 mins.
Final interview with the primary manager 60 mins. (Depending on the candidate)
