Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A bilingual
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available serving
students from kindergarten through fifth grade within a public
school district in Mesquite, Texas. This itinerant, contract role
offers a blend of on-site presence and remote work, supporting the
districts evaluation team with specialized speech therapy services.
Key Responsibilities: - Provide speech and language evaluations and
therapy to K-5 students across multiple campuses. - Collaborate
with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement
individualized education plans (IEPs). - Utilize district-provided
resources including assessment tools, technology, and
administrative support. - Maintain timely and accurate
documentation, including report writing, with the flexibility to
work remotely one day per week. - Participate in meetings and
communicate effectively with educators, families, and district
staff. Qualifications and Experience: - Active Texas
Speech-Language Pathology license required. - Bilingual proficiency
in English and Spanish essential for communication with diverse
student populations. - Experience working with K-12 students,
particularly within school settings, is preferred. - Ability to
manage caseload efficiently and function in an itinerant capacity
across multiple campuses. - Strong organizational and interpersonal
skills, coupled with a commitment to student success. Location: -
Mesquite, Texas, with an office based at the districts Student
Support Center. Hours and Schedule: - Up to 30 hours per week,
offering flexibility between full and part-time availability. -
On-site presence required, with one permitted remote workday weekly
dedicated to report writing. This contract role offers a meaningful
