Job Description:
Capital One Auto is seeking a Creative Manager to serve as a
high-impact, strategic Individual Contributor supporting one of our
newest digital platforms. In this role, you are a leader through
your work. You function as a one-person creative powerhouse, owning
the entire lifecycle of a project—from the first line of copy and
the initial design to the final video export and legal approval.
You are a key individual contributor and a Manager of the Creative
Process, providing consultative guidance to stakeholders and
ensuring excellence in execution without the need for a large
supporting team. A portfolio is required – demonstrating a wide
variety of work across multiple campaigns, including print,
digital, social, and omni-channel. Demonstrated Impact
Self-Directed Leadership: You manage your projects with extreme
ownership, and work with a creative director You do not wait for
direction; you identify business needs and create the solutions.
Influence Without Authority: You partner with senior leaders, data
scientists, and legal teams to drive projects forward through
persuasion, strategic rationale, and creative expertise. Mastery
over Management: Your value is in your "Full-Stack" capability. You
are the subject matter expert (SME) who can do the work better and
faster than a traditional team-based approach. Organizational
Architect: You navigate the complexities of a large organization
(Legal, Compliance, Brand) as a solo operator, ensuring your work
meets every standard of a world-class financial institution. Key
Responsibilities Full-Stack Creation: Execute high-level Art
Direction, Graphic Design, and Copywriting simultaneously. You own
the visual and verbal "soul" of every project. Multimedia
Production: Lead and execute lean ("scrappy") video and photography
shoots—from storyboarding and camera operation to expert editing
and motion graphics in After Effects and Premiere. Creative Project
Management: Act as your own PM. You will build timelines, manage
task backlogs, and ensure every milestone is hit, maintaining clear
communication with all business partners. Corporate Navigation:
Drive projects through the "nitty-gritty" of the organization,
including Legal and Compliance reviews, brand audits, and
data-backed performance optimizations. Data-Driven Design:
Collaborate directly with Data Scientists and Analysts to translate
complex metrics into creative experiments that drive B2B
conversion. The Ideal Candidate The "Accountable" Specialist: You
thrive on the ability to see a project through from start to
finish. You know how to work closely with peers and partners and
readily tackle projects with a variety or approaches. You’re
comfortable driving a project, but know the appropriate times to
build buy in with the creative director and brand marketing
director. Executive Presence: You are comfortable defending
creative decisions to Senior Leaders with data-backed logic and
business-aligned strategy. A Technical Polymath: You have a working
understanding of HTML/CSS to ensure your digital designs are
technically sound. Ability to multitask, conceptualize, manage ones
own time, create and work directly with other employees—Strong
creative problem-solving skills Technical & Process Toolkit
Creative: Adobe Creative Cloud (Ps, Ai, Id), After Effects,
Premiere, and Figma. Copy: Proven ability to write short-form and
long-form B2B marketing copy. Process: Experience with project
management tools (Adobe Workfront, Jira) and a track record of
navigating highly regulated environments. Production: Expertise in
camera operation, lighting, and sound for agile video/photo
production. Basic Qualifications: Bachelors Degree or military
experience At least 7 years of creative agency, marketing agency or
in-house creative experience demonstrated through a portfolio of
digital and print experience At least 7 years in the following
Adobe Creative Suite CC apps: Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign At
least 4 years in the following Adobe Creative Suite CC apps:
Premiere Pro, After Effects At least 2 years experience working
with a prototyping software, such as: Figma or Adobe XD At least 3
years experience in email, mobile and digital design Preferred
Qualifications: 3 years experience working with or presenting to
senior leaders 3 years experience in B2B marketing Ability to run
scrappy photo shoots/operate a DSLR camera At this time, Capital

for this position. The minimum and maximum full-time annual
salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note
that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to
perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the
amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting.
Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed
upon number of hours to be regularly worked. Plano, TX: $138,100 -
$157,700 for Manager, Creative Candidates hired to work in other
locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that
location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any
candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the
candidate’s offer letter. This role is also eligible to earn
performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash
bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be
discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan. Capital
