JOB DESCRIPTION
As an IT financial analyst, you will be focused within financial
planning/forecasting for a Fortune 100 client, specifically within
the Chief Technology Office organization. You will need to be
comfortable collaborating with program delivery leads/program
managers/project managers/IT leaders to maintain an understanding
of project deliverables as estimated and planned. You will create
Purchase Orders and process invoices. You will partner with the
client and various internal sector finance groups to release
budgets in a timely manner after project investment approvals are
made. You will also present financial reviews with Food and
Beverage leadership each period; prepare and present forecast
details. Presentation to include period and year to date actuals vs
plan, period variance explanation, remainder of year period
forecast. As the senior/lead finance analyst on this team, you will
be working with leadership who is responsible for all hardware
moves/changes within sites across the US. There are over 160
individual project codes, where 1-2 project codes may be used at
each site, that needs to be managed. As a finance analyst, you will
be working directly with a senior/lead finance analyst on the team
and will need to have the following qualities: detail oriented,
have excellent project management/organization experience, advanced
Excel skills, ability to create and track POs, work within Hyperion
and SAP, communicate clearly. You would be responsible for
assisting in tracking approximately $70M
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting Required.
5+ years of experience in finance or accounting (at least 1 year
within and IT Organization).
Experience in accounts payable and purchasing cycles of
accounting.
Experience working in SAP financial modules.
Experience with Hyperion.
Experience in financial planning or project accounting.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong ability to work within Excel. Experience with advance
formulas, pivot tables, and reporting.
Strong ability to consolidate and report financials in a clear and
precise format.
Ability to work at low line item and high program-wide detail
levels with accuracy.
Strong ability to present and speak to period forecasts.
Strong ability to partner with multiple Food and Beverage internal
teams and external partners so to effectively manage and deliver
period forecasts within plan.
Experience working in a global environment with stakeholders across
multiple geographies.
Ability to work with virtual teams and lead finance related
discussions.
Strong ability to identify and communicate financial risk to Food
and Beverage Leaders.
