Job TitleAccounting & Administrative SpecialistJob SummaryThe Accounting & Administrative Specialist must be an organized and energetic team member at Candor Expedite. This person is responsible for the accuracy of the company's financial data and compliance by maintaining records, managing accounts payable, and receivable, payroll, and all daily financial entries and reconciliations. This is accomplished by timely data entry, clear organization, and knowledge of all aspects of the company. This position is a combination of remote and in office.General ResponsibilitiesChecks figures, postings, and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy, and proper codes.Classifies, records, and summarizes numerical and financial data to compile and keep financial records, using journals and ledgers or computers.Debits, credits, and totals accounts.Receives, records, and banks cash, checks and vouchers.Complies with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations.Compiles statistical, financial, accounting, or auditing reports and tables of cash receipts, expenditures, accounts payable and receivable, and profits and losses.Reconciles or notes and reports discrepancies found in records Answering telephone calls and emails from customers, clients, and vendors. Directing them to the appropriate staff member.Interface with Information Technology vendor to ensure all company laptops, printer, etc. are in working order.Performs other related duties as assigned by management.Job QualificationsAssociate's degree or equivalent work experience.Minimum of one year of relevant work experience in finance, accounting, or related role.Quickbooks experience preferredSkillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsGeneral office or bookkeeping knowledgeData entryMath and reasoningAccuracyAttention to detailCritical thinkingTime managementuIKHzccEgX
