  • Perform relevant, in-depth, client, industry, competitor and market research to provide strategic planning and analysis for:
    • 100-day planning and implementation
    • Market and growth diligence (Quality of Strategy)
    • Profitability by customer and product line analysis
    • Pricing optimization
    • Critical priority identification and ROI analysis
    • Primary research, including secret shopper visits and consumer surveys
    • Turnaround strategy, restructuring, and cash-generation support
    • Participate in client meetings and site visits while interacting with top-level management, C-level executives and shareholders to complete particular steps of a project as defined by the project team leader
    • Synthesize information from interviews, 3rd party research, client documents and Internet research
    • Produce and present strategies verbally, visually, and in writing with PowerPoint and written proposals
    • Manage multiple tasks, prioritizing time and communicating potential conflicts to manager/principal
    • Demonstrate flexibility and take responsibility for getting things done
    • Use various software tools as designated by the firm
    • Represent the firm in community activities and professional associations
    • Manage and implement multiple projects through delegation, coordination, communication, and organization.
    • Coordinate deployment of projects included staffing resources, deadlines, and end user expectations.
    • Ensure that all projects are properly documented, which includes a business case, business requirements, and implementation plan, maintaining document requirements for project managers and business owners. Document, obtain approval, and track all changes in project scope. Close all project documentation and archive appropriate records.
    • Evaluate and establish strategy to analyze problems and provide workable solutions. Track and report progress and forecast final delivery targets.
    • Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis.
    • Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.Qualifications:Minimum Requirements
      • Must be authorized to work in the United States without future sponsorship
      • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business, Management, Mathematics, or Statistics, or other relevant field
      • Previous strategy management experience preferred
      • 3+ years consulting experience
      • Excellent presentation skills
      • Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
      • Must be very highly organized and have the ability to meet deadlines
      • Strong technical writing skills (clear, concise, and excellent grammar)
      • Clear communication of project status to client, sales personnel, and management throughout project
      • Ability for light travel
        Preferred Qualifications and Competencies
        • MBA (Masters of Business Administration from a top ranked university)
        • Exposure to private equity groups and/or corporate transactions
        • Demonstrated ability to apply critical thinking and problem solving skills against clear business recommendations
        • Possess great interpersonal skills and building strong client relationships
        • Work within tight deadlines and take responsibility for getting the job done in a timely manner
        • Confident self-starter
