Position: Software Design Engineer III (Plano, Texas)

Duties: Design and implement high performance server and front-end

applications that facilitate management and monitoring of complex telecom

and data networks. Perform software engineering in multiple Java-based

languages and frameworks for telecom and data network applications.

Leverage knowledge of multiple telecom and software engineering principles

to develop software for real-time network monitoring and management

applications for specific telecom clients. Apply advanced knowledge of

complex aspects of telecommunications systems, including divergent

frequency bands, variable coding schemes, client protocols, systems

prototypes, data warehouses, variable nodes, and cell sizes. Leverage

knowledge of Quality Assurance and Unit Testing best practices.

Participate in the development of new products that upgrade ongoing

releases of monitoring and management software to increase the

functionality of capabilities for client companies.

Requirements: Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer

Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems or related field and

three (3) years of experience designing and implementing enterprise Java

applications; or in the alternative, a Bachelor's degree (or foreign

equivalent) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information

Systems and five (5) years of experience as indicated above.

Also requires demonstrated expertise (DE): leveraging Java, Groovy, and

Grails to write automation scripts; DE developing user interfaces on ExtJS4

JavaScript Library and framework; DE leveraging Itest and Ansible

automation tools to perform test cases, debugging, and continuous

integration practices; and DE interfacing with Quality Assurance Engineers

and Product Line Managers to gather requirements and translate into design

specifications.
